JON URIARTE

Jon Uriarte is a curator, photographer, teacher and holds a Master’s in Photography Projects and Theory. He is the artistic director of DONE, launched by Fundación Foto Colectania, an international creative and think- ing programme that revolves around the image in the digital and Internet era. Jon has co-curated group and solo exhibitions, and coordinated workshops and lectures as a member of the Widephoto platform. He has been a guest researcher at MACBA’s (Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona) study centre and curated at the audio-visual laboratory Soy Cámara of the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona.

He teaches at EFTI, International Centre of Photography and Cinema, in Madrid and is project tutor in the photography de- gree and head of the Advanced Photography Master at IDEP, College of Image and Design, in Barcelona.

Jon Uriarte curated the Parallel Exhibition Currents Shift at Le Château d’Eau, Toulouse
