Vitaliy Galanzha

We’re living in a time when the fragility of daily life is opposed to the constancy of virtuality. 

Our personality, thoughts and emotions are on the verge of imaginary, illusion and reality. 

Digging into the vastness of the internet we’re shaping our lifeway into the timeless feed of representations which have a tangible impact on our relationships.

This illumination of details we produce in pixels create a psychological environment that is very different from the offline world and may either maximize or minimize our loneliness.

In this series I’m working with a theme of solidarity and draw a poetic reflection on social communication through dreamlike scenes, alluding to wider concerns of today’s realities. 

Vitaliy Galanzha is an artist based in Kiev, Ukraine. During his participation in a long term course organised by Image Threads Collective, he started developing in his latest series, which focuses on the interactions between human activities and natural environment.
