Milán Rácmolnár

Substance

As in the majority of my works this serie also deals with human perception. How we perceive the forces which have a great impact on our lives, yet we cannot visually recognize them. In Substance these forces appear as timeless icons, some strange sculptures, odd looking objects. There are different understanding layers to the images, one from a distance where

they just appear as some strange textured matters. But from a closer look the viewer can be lost in the different patterns of the dueling forces. So the main goal is to keep up the viewers interest, yet don’t unfold the exact mechanisms behind the picture.”

Milán Rácmolnár was born in 1990. He is a photographer based in Hungary. He had exhibitions in Budapest, London and New York. His photographic work focuses on the visualization of things that cannot be perceived with the human senses, or at least not in a visual way.
