
MARTA PONSA
Marta Ponsa is an Art Historian and Head of Artistic Projects and public programmes in Jeu de Paume, Paris, where she curates exhibitions, conferences, performances, as well as the cinema and video programme. As a curator, she has organised research projects about European photography of the period from 1920 to 1950; additionally she has curated exhibitions with other media, such as video, visual arts, documentary and experimental multimedia. Marta has a keen interest in digital arts and cross-technology projects, especially those that intersect science and art, as reflected in her work for the Jeu de Paume online exhibition space and online magazine. She regularly collaborates with institutions related to photography and moving image such as Fondation “La Caixa” in Spain, FotoFest in Houston, Oberhausen Film Festival, CPH:DOX in Copenhagen, and Rencontres d’Arles, among others.
